Subscription & Billing Terms

1. The three tiers

PromptMint access works in three tiers:

• Sprout (free) — every new account gets 5 free mints to try the builders, with no card required. Once used, they are not replenished on the free tier.
• Subscriber (active plan) — a paid plan gives you a pool of mints to spend during the plan period.
• Lapsed (expired plan) — when a paid plan ends and is not renewed, your account is limited to a small daily allowance (currently 2 mints per day) until you buy a plan again.

2. Plans and mint pools

The current plans are:

Live pricing always appears on the pricing page; this table is generated from it and may be superseded by current in-app prices.

Each paid plan grants its mint pool for the plan period. A "mint" is one generated prompt; "unlimited" plans are for normal, good-faith individual use and remain subject to our Terms and fair-use protections against automated or abusive consumption.

3. How mints work

One mint is spent each time you generate a prompt in a builder. Mints are a consumable credit: once spent they are used up, whether or not you keep the result. The prompts you generate are yours to keep even after your plan ends.

Unless a plan expressly states otherwise, a plan's mint pool is for its own period and unused mints do not roll over into a new period or a new plan.

4. Billing and renewals

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Each tier offers two billing options:

• Monthly (auto-renewing) — you authorise a secure auto-debit mandate and are charged the monthly price automatically at the start of each cycle, until the plan's cycle count is reached or you cancel. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account page; you keep full access until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and are not charged again.
• Yearly (one-time) — you pay the full year upfront, once, at a discount versus twelve monthly charges. Yearly plans do not auto-renew — there is no stored mandate, so there are no surprise renewals. When the year ends, you simply choose whether to buy again.

Your plan status, billing type, remaining mints, and expiry or next-charge date are always visible on your account page. Expiry is applied automatically when a plan's period ends without renewal.

5. Upgrades, downgrades, and changes

You can move to a different plan by purchasing it. Where a change is made mid-period, we (or an admin, on request) may adjust your plan, mint pool, or expiry to reflect the change fairly. 6. Taxes and invoices

Prices are shown in INR. Any applicable taxes (such as GST) will be shown or added at checkout in line with law; contact us if you need a tax invoice.

7. Price and plan changes

We may change our plans, prices, mint pools, or free and daily allowances at any time. Changes apply to future purchases and renewals — they do not change the price or benefits of a plan you have already paid for during its current period. The current offer is always what appears on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

8. Cancellation and refunds

On a Monthly plan you can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account page: future auto-debits stop, you keep full access until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and then the account lapses to the daily allowance. On a Yearly plan there is no recurring charge to cancel — it runs to the end of its period and then lapses. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
